Privacy Policy

Effective Date: February 24, 2026 Last Updated: February 24, 2026

Pixel Mine ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website pixelmine.com and associated landing pages (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information.

By using the Service you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

When you sign up through one of our landing pages or contact us, we may collect:

  • Email address — required to register your interest.

  • Name — if you choose to provide it.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our pages we may automatically receive:

  • Usage data — pages visited, timestamps, referral URLs.

  • UTM parameters — campaign source, medium, and campaign name embedded in the URL you arrived from. These help us understand which advertisements directed you to us.

  • Device and browser information — browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and language preference.

  • IP address — collected by our hosting infrastructure for security and analytics purposes.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our landing pages may use minimal first-party cookies or local storage for functional purposes (e.g., preventing duplicate form submissions). We do not use third-party advertising trackers on our landing pages. If we serve ads through third-party platforms (such as Reddit or Meta), those platforms operate under their own cookie and tracking policies.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Gauge interest in potential game concepts and features (demand validation).

  • Communicate with you — for example, to notify you if a game concept you expressed interest in moves forward.

  • Improve our services — analyze aggregate signup and traffic data to refine our offerings.

  • Maintain security — detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or technical issues.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (EEA/UK Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal bases for processing your data are:

  • Consent — you provide your information voluntarily by completing a signup form.

  • Legitimate interest — we have a legitimate business interest in understanding demand for game concepts, provided this does not override your fundamental rights.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

Legal obligationsWe may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.

Business transfersIn the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not share your email address or name with any third-party data brokers or marketing partners.

5. Data Retention

We retain signup data for as long as it is needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy. Specifically:

  • Signup records are retained for up to 24 months from the date of collection, after which they are deleted unless you have an ongoing relationship with us.

  • You may request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 8).

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including:

  • All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.

  • Landing pages are served through Amazon CloudFront with HTTPS enforced.

  • Access to signup data is restricted to authorized personnel via IAM-scoped credentials.

  • The signup API uses a serverless architecture (AWS Lambda) with no persistent servers exposed to the internet.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where our infrastructure is hosted. If you are located outside the United States, please be aware that data protection laws in the US may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By submitting your information, you consent to this transfer.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

  • Correction — request correction of inaccurate data.
